It's a scofflaw's dream - someone else paying to fight the system.
A Web site that guarantees to beat parking tickets - for a price, of course - began hawking gift certificates yesterday that help New Yorkers fight off pricey citations.
All it takes is someone willing to pay anywhere from $25 to $10,000 to possibly make a pal's parking ticket troubles disappear.
"Instead of a tie or a sweater, here's something you can really use," said Glen Bolofsky, president of parkingticket.com, who boasts of having beat more than $1 million in city parking fines over 20 years.
"Not a bad idea," said Tyrone Haamid, 39, of Harlem.
The city's Finance Department wasn't exactly impressed, noting New Yorkers can fight tickets online, in person or through the mail - at no cost.
